Rachel is a visual artist based in East Yorkshire.  Her work is predominantly paper based. She trained in Printmaking and Sculpture (BA. Hons Fine Art & MA.)  

Print making is a medium that perhaps more than other form of visual art offers her a wealth of challenges and directions for image development, whether using traditional techniques or evolving technology.  As a print can have an edition created, it makes it an accessible and democratic art form. 

Rachel worked for many years in further and higher education.  

Her recent work has been concerned with the retelling of myths. 

She is part of the Juice Studio’s Community, based on Humber Street, Hull.
