Workshops FAQ

  • We’re at 61A Humber Street, HU1 1TG

The step free entrance is located next door to Form Shop & Studio, with signage on the door. The workshop space is located on the first floor, and is fully accessible via stairs or a lift.

  • We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible.

In the event that your workshop cannot run,  the following charges will apply:

Cancelled more than 10 days before the event date: no charge, we can also move you to another date.

Cancelled less than 10 days before the event date: 50% of booking fee charged.

If we have to cancel your booking, for any reason we can reschedule to another date and there will be no charge for your workshop (charge applies to the new date).

  • We’ll generally send the invoice in the week before your workshop, which has 30 days terms.

  • There is no sink in the workshop room but we do have a sink in our shared space.
There is also small kitchenette on the same floor as the workshop space. Please don’t use this for art materials but if you need to top up water that’s fine.

  • The Room is approx 5m x 5.5m with some shelves/storage to one side.

  • We recommend booking at least two months in advance, not only to secure your date but to allow adequate time to promote your event or sell tickets. The earlier you book, the more likely it is that we can include your event on our What’s On posters and flyers.

  • All ticket sales are the responsibility of the room hirer. We recommend using your own website to sell tickets (or dedicated platforms like TicketTailor).

We will promote your event via our social media channels, and there will be a dedicated listing of your event on our ‘What’s On’ website page, which will include a link to your ticketing platform.

You are also welcome to invite us as a collaborator on your instagram posts to make the most of our audience as well as your own.

  • Naturally this depends on how you use the space and how much table area an attendee needs but the space will suit up to 16 people. If you’re unsure, feel free to drop us an email to arrange a visit to the space.

  • There is a small kitchenette on the same floor as the workshop space, and is available to use. We also have a hot water urn and can set up a basic tea and coffee station within the workshop space, as part of the hire fee, if requested.

You are also welcome to serve your own catering in the space or bring extra treats.

  • Unless an alternative has been pre discussed, a member of Juice Studios will be available in the building during your workshop in case of emergency.

  • The room is generally roughly set up but it’s worth factoring to time to adjust to suit you - we’ll be here to help with this. Also if you have a specific arrangement in mind, feel free to drop us an email before you arrive.

  • Anywhere up to an hour is usually great, but if you think you need less or more, don’t hesitate to let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
