What: a simple, regular, self guided life drawing session for people wanting to practise their figurative art skills. We have a rota of experienced art models who come each week to pose for the group. During these sessions the poses range from 2 minute, dynamic warm-up poses all the way up to 40 minute seated/reclining positions. We often start with the shorter poses and work up to longer poses.
When: Regular Thursday evening sessions run from 6:30pm - 8:30pm with a 15 minute comfort break approximately halfway through. Though we start drawing at 6:30pm on the dot, it is advised you arrive at/by 6.15pm to set up.
Where: Juice Studios, 61A Humber Street, Hull. HU1 1TG (The door to left of Form shop, opposite Cuban Pete's bar & restaurant).
Parking and travel: There is parking available at the Fruit Market parking structure (accessible via Blackfriargate). which is approximately 5 mins walk to the venue. Humber Street is approximately 20 minutes walk from Paragon bus and train station.Please turn up 10 mins early to set up.
Please bring your own art materials to enjoy drawing/painting art models from life.
Tea and coffee is provided in the break.
This is an informal session for people to enjoy practicing making art and mindfulness but tutoring is available on request. Limited tickets available.
